Congratulations Griffo!
This month’s newsletter celebrates a huge achievement for club stalwart Steve “Griffo” Griffiths, who has been recognised with an Athletics Victoria Merit Award for his remarkable service to athletics.
From his early days as a junior premiership winner in the 1960s to his current role as registrar and club historian, Griffo has given more than six decades of dedication to Collingwood Harriers, both on and off the track. His award is a fitting tribute to a lifetime of commitment to the sport and our club community.
Looking ahead, centenary planning for 2026 continues, with members invited to provide input via a short survey on celebration events and special edition competition tops. The Collingwood Harriers merchandise shop is also open until September 20, offering a full range of custom-designed apparel through Sub4 to keep members geared up for the summer season.
