About this event

Collingwood Harriers is organising the Collingwood Classic for any and all runners – from Parkrunners to elite – to participate in, choosing from graded 5000m heats, and a 10,000m race. It’s a great way to finish the summer season before competition turns towards winter racing.

500m Races

• Will be run in grades based on performances submitted.
• Time limits will be defined and enforced for each grade heat, with pacemakers included for defined times.
• There will be one women’s only heat.
• Prizemoney awarded for winners of the women only and men’s elite heat for 1st to 3rd as $500/300/150.

10,000m Races

• A mixed 10,000m race will be held, with limited entries based on performances submitted.
• Time limits will be defined and enforced for each grade heat, with pacemakers included for defined times.
• Prizemoney awarded for female and male place getters for 1st to 3rd as $500/300/150..

Advice Regarding Shoes

• Competitors are free to wear any shoes in events.

Draft Schedule

3:30 pm: 5,000m D race, mixed (30 min)
4:00 pm 5,000m C race, mixed (30 mins)
4:30 pm 5,000m B race, mixed (25 mins)
4:55 pm 10,000m A race, mixed (55 mins)
5:50 pm 5,000m Females (25 mins)
6:15 pm 5,000m Male Elite (20 mins)
